During my facilitator training sessions, I teach you how to do what I do. You learn what's essential for helping people transform their lives through music.
A typical session looks like this:
We tune in to each other and warm up with some simple exercises.
Tentative? Don't worry -- I've set up openings and ice breakers to get the group working and thinking together.
This is where it gets fun -- we begin working with drum circles.
Lots of experimentation, energy, and creativity in this phase of the training as we create drum circles and ensembles.
Here's where we get really creative. We expand the possibilities available to us and reach out to each other to increase the options available.
During the process, we've learned to integrate each other's ideas and we've come to understand things we might have overlooked before -- it's all part of our growth as leaders.
At the end, we take time to reflect on the process and discuss what we've learned.
